Bernd, what are you passionate about?

I am passionate about collaborating with decision-makers from the CFO organization to define a vision that enables more effective and less stressful management across the company.
Professionally, I focus on reporting, group consolidation, and organizational consulting. This is what makes it so important for me to engage with and galvanize decision-makers and project participants to achieve the project goals. To accomplish this, I rely on my technical expertise, a clear framework, targeted communication, and inspiring workshop and project approaches.

How would you describe valantic in three sentences?

valantic offers our customers end-to-end digitalization in operations and cross-divisional functions, from strategy to technical implementation. What distinguishes valantic from global consultancies is that responsibility lies with a team of highly competent and experienced entrepreneurs who joined forces to form a new company. Our employees can grow both personally and professionally and thus make an active contribution to shaping the organization.

Bernd, what did you do before joining valantic?

Before founding and becoming the Managing Director of valantic Digital Finance GmbH in 2015, I spent over 20 years as a consultant and partner at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, where I was, amongst other things, instrumental in establishing the business intelligence consulting practice. Before my career in consulting, I completed a technical apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and earned a degree in industrial engineering from Aalen University of Applied Sciences.
