„After completing my studies in communications, I wanted to swiftly apply the knowledge that I had gained to my professional life. In 2002, I – along with Patrick Edelmayr and Dietmar Rietsch – co-founded the full-service digital agency elements New Media Solutions GmbH, headquartered in Salzburg.“

What are you on fire for?

„I’ve been passionate about digital technologies from an early age. Since then, I have always stayed at the forefront and eagerly explored everything new in the digital realm. Being a digital native, I have honed my core skills in software development. Today, my focus lies in SEO, PIM, architecture, business intelligence, and databases.“

„I am responsible for consulting and supporting major customer projects, as well as providing guidance for the implementation of new technologies. My approach is always focused on finding solutions. That’s what truly drives me.“

What did you do before joining valantic?

„After completing my studies and gaining initial experience in an agency in Munich, I co-founded the full-service agency DGTLS with my two partners. Since then, I have been based in my hometown in Chiemgau, where I live with my family, and continue to drive digital transformation globally.“

„Every digital brand strategy hinges on the quality of its content. It’s not a mere ‘nice-to-have’ but the very foundation of success for all digital experiences – literally, all of them. Much like effective digital content marketing, my daily work revolves around building relationships. My background in strategy development, web copywriting and content marketing led me to establish the agency punkt & komma. I take immense pride in seeing my one-woman venture grow into a team of approximately 30 experts, now covering all facets of content creation.“

„Since 2005, I have immersed myself in a diverse array of content-related subjects, establishing myself as a content creator from the outset, even during the era when it was still referred to as web copywriting. Concurrently and subsequent to my studies in communications, I gained valuable experience at various agencies in Salzburg and Munich. In 2013, I founded the content & content marketing agency punkt & komma, which later became part of elements New Media GmbH – a valantic company in 2017. In 2014, I also initiated ContentDay, Austria’s first specialized conference on content marketing.“

What are your responsibilities at valantic?

„Since 2014, I have been a partner at valantic, and I currently share the responsibility for our Customer Experience (CX) division with my colleagues. People are close to my heart, which is why I am responsible for People & Culture Development in our division, among other things.“

„I studied mathematics, physics and economics at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. In 1995, I graduated with a degree in economics. Following that, I was involved in a wide variety of sales and marketing automation projects at Kiefer und Veittinger, the former European CRM market leader in Mannheim. As a project manager, I spearheaded the global implementation of SAP CRM after its acquisition by SAP. In 2002, I co-founded movento alongside Christoph Resch. Together, we propelled the company to become the leading provider of SAP Customer Experience Management in German-speaking Europe.“

What did you do before joining valantic?

„I studied at the Technical University of Darmstadt and have since gained extensive experience in various digitalization and B2B e-commerce projects. As a co-founder and CEO of netz98, I have been with the company for over 20 years, guiding its transformation from a traditional digital agency to an expert agency for B2B enterprise commerce. Today, we take pride in being the leading Magento partner in Germany, and we are dedicated to further expanding this position, particularly in the realm of Adobe Experience Cloud products.“

„I started my professional career with a banking apprenticeship. After completing my business informatics degree and doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, I became part of the international company arvato. In the 12 years that followed, I took on various roles at Namics / Merkle DACH, mainly in customer acquisition, consulting and development in Switzerland, Germany and the UK. As CCO and member of the executive board, I contributed significantly to the strategic development of the company.“

What are your responsibilities at valantic?

„At netz98 – a valantic company, I am responsible for the areas of finance and human resources. As the CEO of netz98 and a partner at valantic, I consider myself as the bridge between the strategic goals of becoming a digital service provider of the future and the individuals who bring this vision to life.“

What did you do before joining valantic?

„I started my professional journey at the global consulting firm Towers Watson Germany, where I worked as a project manager in the Pension Management division. Later, I transitioned to an internet service provider in Mainz, where I served as a division manager. In this role, I supported major clients in implementing complex IT processes, while also overseeing project team formation, planning, and control. Since 2012, I have proudly held the position of CEO at netz98 GmbH, alongside Tim Hahn.“

What are you focusing on at valantic?

„As Managing Director of valantic CEC, my primary accountability are the operations of our business areas, Spryker, Shopware, CRE, and QA. My role also involves managing and coordinating our near- and offshore activities and PIM and Magento Competentence Centers.“

„Before joining valantic, I started my own business in the late 1990s, building ecommerce solutions with my international team for our clients. The entrepreneurial spirit within valantic made it the perfect partner and new home for my team and me to continue our journey of innovation and growth.“

„When our agency was in its early stages, I was mostly responsible for the technical aspects. Today, I oversee human resources development. However, I have never lost my enthusiasm for technological possibilities, and I continue to provide consulting for customer projects of various sizes and industries.“

„I studied information technology at the Technical University of Munich. After graduating, I co-founded the full-service agency DGTLS together with my two partners. Today we employ almost 100 people at locations in Munich, Traunstein, Barcelona and Vienna.“

„As the Managing Director, I consider myself an all-rounder. However, my primary focus lies in consulting, account management, and new business development. „I grew up in Latin America and Germany. During my academic years, I pursued studies in language, business, and cultural studies at the University of Passau and Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires. In 2007, I co-founded the full-service digital agency DGTLS in Munich with my two partners. Since then, we have been dedicated to building and expanding the agency.“

„Since 2014, I have been holiding a partnership position at valantic GmbH. As the co-managing director of the valantic Competence Center Customer Engagement & Commerce, my responsibilities encompass sales, marketing, partner management, and business development across multiple locations in Germany and Austria. I am driven by the unknown, constantly exploring what is achievable today in order to discover optimal solutions for our customers’ profitable growth.“

„Digitalization has been my focus since 1996, initially as the CTO of one of Austria’s pioneering digital agencies and later as the CEO of Prokom. In 2004, we merged with elements New Media Solutions GmbH. Alongside Roland Dessovic and Patrick Edelmayr, I pursued a vision that materialized in 2009: the open-source software trailblazer, Pimcore. A milestone that has reshaped the industry’s landscape and redefined the rules of the game.“

What are your responsibilities at valantic?

„In 2014, I joined valantic as Director of Business Development and Deputy General Manager. Since 2016, I have been holding the position of Managing Director at valantic CEC Schweiz AG, where I am responsible for management and business development. I highly value active collaboration with customers and employees in customer support, development, and organizational growth.“

„Since 1999, I have been actively involved in sales and marketing, as well as employee development. I have held various positions at SFS, including Sales Consultant, Key Account Manager, and Project Manager. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in the medical industry as a sales manager. I have also pursued further education in general management, B2B marketing, and B2B sales at FHS and HSG St. Gallen.“

„Recently, I had the privilege of spearheading the growth and development of AIOPSGROUP's business. My responsibilities included building a robust client roster, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our capabilities to drive success. In addition, I led the strategic planning process, setting annual goals and identifying opportunities for growth by service line and geographic market. With over 20 years of experience in digital services, eCommerce solutions, and software development, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. My skills encompass business development, commerce services, market growth acceleration, technology partnerships, and client services. Outside of work, I still maintain a love for sports and physical activity. As a former athlete, football remains a passion of mine, but I also enjoy skiing, deep-sea fishing, sailing, and diving. These hobbies keep me grounded and help me maintain a healthy work-life balance.“

„Innovation, results and help others grow! The e-commerce reality is both, evolving dynamically and offer complex challenges. This is inspiring to me as it gives us a chance to be ahead of the game. We learn and ideate every day, even after more than 10 years in the field. Every time we meet a client, I am naturally driven by the desire to understand their needs and gaps, and deliver a flawless and effective solution for any business - be it in an optimized service manner or via the ongoing innovation and development of their solutions. It is a pity to miss picking the fruit of an already grown tree, and we are here to ensure maximum value to our customers.“

What are your responsibilities at Valantic?

„I’m part of the CX division and driving the Salesforce Commerce Cloud operations as well as helping other valantic CX departments to grow their engineering power in our Sofia, India and Serbia based centers of excellence.“

„We are very result driven team, and result does not only mean “let’s grow the team”, it also means let’s grow our customer’s business. We are always looking how the make things better, how to innovate, how to add more value in what we do. It’s really amazing to see that the work delivered is helping the customers, optimizing their activities and bringing them on the next level.“

„Worked for +12 years in corporate organisations (Shell, KPN) in multiple roles directly involved with the Board of Management. Therefore, I understand boardrooms dynamics and I am often approach as sparring partner for digital transformation.“

What is your professional background?

„As a Partner & Managing Director within valantic CX, I lead our practice for customer engagement transformations, powered by Salesforce. Prior to my role at valantic, I delivered global transformation projects in this field, working for a global consulting firm and an expert digital agency. Academically I studied Management in Leipzig (HHL) and Cape Town and consider myself an expert for digital transformation of “Hidden Champion Firms”. I still enjoy to regularly publish together with representatives from academia and practice.“

What do you do if you are not working?

„I am grateful to have a beautiful family and two wonderful children of two and four years. Together we love to travel (South Africa, but also mountains and the seaside of Europe), go on bike rides, swimming, on the SUP or playing tennis. Beyond that, I have a great passion for cooking and interest in food-wine-pairing, especially German Riesling. If time allows, I personally enjoy reading and listening to podcasts on philosophy, (geo)politics and other social matters.“

„I studied law in Düsseldorf and gained experience in the IT and telecommunications industry before becoming a founder myself in 1999. Starting as a two-person agency, we have grown into a group of companies with more than 120 employees – Nexus United. After careful consideration and deliberation, we merged with valantic in 2019, finding our ideal “big brother” to support our journey.“
