As a project and production planner – as an IT or SCM manager – as a CEO
In multi-tier supply chains, internal planning is only as reliable as the information flowing in from outside. Suppliers, contract manufacturers, and customers are central factors in the planning process – yet in practice, integrating them is often laborious, error-prone, and delayed.
Supply chain collaboration refers to the structured, IT-supported cooperation between a company and its external partners – suppliers, customers, and contract manufacturers – along the supply chain. The goal is to exchange planning-relevant information in a targeted and timely manner, simplify coordination processes, and increase visibility into inventory, capacity, and order progress.
This collaboration goes beyond mere information sharing: Participants can provide feedback, report deviations, log open items as tasks directly in the planning context, and attach documents. Communication no longer happens in parallel via emails or phone calls – it is linked directly to the relevant planning data.
The valantic waySuite supports supply chain collaboration through an integrated collaboration platform that can connect any number of external partners easily, with no software installation required.
Better collaboration across complex, multi-tier supply chains
waySuite enables the targeted integration of customers and suppliers directly from within the planning software – no switching systems, no data gaps, no complex interface projects on the partner side.
Supplier data directly in the planning system
With waySuite’s collaboration lists, quantities, production sequences, and priorities for critical orders can be transmitted to contract manufacturers and suppliers. Feedback, deviations, and changes flow directly back into the planning via bidirectional communication. The result is a continuous flow of information – no manual data transfer, no gaps between systems.
Keep customers up to date with no extra effort
Project progress, order confirmations, and status information can be made directly accessible to customers via waySuite’s collaboration platform – with precisely defined, role-based access rights and without unnecessarily exposing sensitive internal planning data.
Spot bottlenecks early – before they become a crisis
valantic waySuite visualizes the entire supply network with all relevant parameters: inventory, lead times, bill of materials information, and capacity. Looming supply shortages become visible before they put your own production at risk.

Technology and architecture at a glance
waySuite’s collaboration platform is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that connects the often heterogeneous system landscapes of all partners along the supply chain via simple interfaces. The individual collaboration functions can be selected and booked as separate apps – depending on your use case.
Views and lists from any waySuite module – whether cloud-based or on-premises – can be selectively shared with external partners. Topics requiring coordination are logged directly as tasks; all communication and data exchange takes place centrally. This significantly reduces data gaps and duplicate data storage.
The Collaboration Lists app offers a simple way to integrate contract manufacturers, extended workbenches, and suppliers into the planning process. Quantities, production sequences, and priorities for critical orders are transmitted to the external partner. Through bidirectional communication, feedback, deviations, and changes flow back as quickly as possible.
valantic waySuite connects any number of suppliers and makes the entire supply network transparent, with all relevant parameters: lead times, bill of materials information, inventory, demand, and capacity. Demand-capacity matching, order promising, and inventory monitoring are built in. Companies of any size can visualize their complete supply network and spot bottlenecks early.
Open items are logged as tasks directly in the collaboration platform and linked to the relevant planning data. Chat and task tracking enable day-to-day coordination with partners – centralized, traceable, audit-proof, and privacy-compliant. The platform is also suitable for calculating greenhouse gas emissions along the supply chain.
waySuite’s collaboration platform is built on Microsoft Azure, hosted in Western Europe. All communication between resources is fully encrypted. External partners receive only precisely defined, role-based access to the planning data released to them. Multi-factor authentication and corporate policies are supported.
valantic Supply Chain Excellence GmbH is certified to TISAX (Level 3), ISO 27001, and ISO 9001. No software installation is required on the partner side. The system is ready for all participants within 24 hours; a supply chain can be set up in around 30 minutes using the plug-and-play function.
Automated integration of contract manufacturers into the value creation process
With the Collaboration Lists app, waySuite’s collaboration platform offers a simple way to integrate contract manufacturers into planning processes. This integration allows quantities, production sequences, and targeted priorities for critical orders to be transmitted to the external partner with no extra effort. Through bidirectional communication, feedback, deviations, and changes can be communicated as quickly as possible.
Easily share project plans from waySuite and Microsoft Project with project partners via the cloud
In project-driven business – plant engineering, for example – numerous dependencies arise, such as conditions that must be met on the customer’s side before assembly can begin. The Projects app offers a convenient way to share project plans and communicate tasks and milestones.
Tasks for fine-tuning project plans can be created and edited directly in the app, matched to the relevant process steps. The platform has a standard interface to waySuite’s project planning, but also allows a simple manual MS Project upload.
Create your carbon footprint and identify reduction potential
The Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) describes the sum of all direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of a company. With the CCF tool on waySuite’s collaboration platform, you can calculate your carbon footprint in a straightforward, standardized way. This helps you identify your individual levers and derive suitable reduction measures. You reach your CCF in just two steps:
First, record your operational activity data, then link it to emission factors you maintain yourself or that are provided by an external database. Beyond the technical solution, we’re also happy to support you with expert consulting on sustainability and CO2 transparency. The focus is always on developing holistic measures – considering economic viability alongside environmental benefit.
