E-commerce (also called eCommerce, electronic trade, Internet trade or online trade) is part of E-business and refers to buying and selling processes via the Internet. With electronic trade, an immediate business relationship between sellers and buyers is handled via data transfer. Essentially in the E-commerce sector, there is a distinction between the areas B2C (Business-to-Consumer) and B2B (Business-to-Business) since sometimes there are different requirements for the different target groups.
