What is the Internet of Things (IoT) or the Internet of Things?

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a collective term for technologies that make it possible to network physical and virtual objects with each other and have them work together using information and communication technologies.

The Internet of Things enables interaction between people and networked electronic systems as well as between the systems themselves (machine-to-machine communication, M2M). The functions can also support people in their activities, for example by sending information about machine statuses to maintenance teams. The ever smaller embedded computers are designed to support people without being distracting or even noticeable. valantic also advises its corporate customers on the implementation of IoT technologies, for example to ensure that production or logistics processes run more smoothly.
