Lehvoss is an international provider of distribution, trading and production of chemical and mineral specialties. With around 600 employees and an annual turnover of over 400 million euros, the company decided to introduce specialized forecasting software as part of the further development of its S&OP process. Together with valantic, a structured tender was carried out to identify a suitable solution.

The challenge

Following the introduction of a new, Excel-based S&OP process, Lehvoss aimed to achieve a sustainable improvement in forecasting quality. The aim was to increase both the accuracy and efficiency of sales planning with a suitable software solution. The challenge was to select a suitable tool from a broad provider market and to evaluate complex requirements in a structured manner.
