Growth demands a solid foundation. For STREIF, that meant transforming Finance and Order-to-Cash with a future-ready ERP. Together with valantic, the long-established prefabricated home manufacturer implemented SAP Cloud ERP in just 12 weeks, leveraging best practices and standard processes to create a scalable platform for growth.
Challenge
STREIF was working with a legacy ERP landscape that had evolved over time and offered limited scalability. Accounting, controlling, and invoicing processes were not fully digitized, while inconsistent data and manual work made it harder to manage the business efficiently.
Consulting Approach
valantic conducted discovery assessments and fit-to-standard workshops with STREIF. The team then implemented SAP Cloud ERP using valantic’s accelerated implementation approach, with a focus on Finance, proven best practices, and a structured project methodology.
Customer Benefits
After going live on schedule following just 12 weeks of implementation, STREIF now has a future-ready, cloud-based ERP solution with more efficient finance processes and harmonized master data. The system’s flexibility and extensibility also provide a strong foundation for the company’s next steps in digital transformation.
Founded in 1929 as a specialty company for formwork construction, STREIF Haus GmbH is now one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of prefabricated homes and a pioneer in the industry. While the business focus in the 1950s and 1960s was on the development and production of prefabricated house models that could be manufactured in large quantities, the company has since concentrated on custom-designed and sustainable properties.
Whether a bungalow, single-family home, city villa, townhouse, or multi-family residence—every STREIF property is now designed as an energy-efficient home and built at the company’s headquarters in Weinsheim in the Eifel region. Since 2021, the owner-managed company has been part of the ADCURAM Group and, with approximately 300 employees, generates group revenue of around 150 million euros.

The prefabricated home manufacturer STREIF operates in a challenging market environment characterized by intense competitive pressure, increasing regulatory requirements, and a growing need for transparency and digitalization. Particularly in controlling, finance, and accounting, rapid data availability, audit-compliant processes, and unified corporate management are among the most important factors for success.
STREIF’s previous ERP landscape had been tailored to the company’s individual requirements over the years. Over time, as demands for standardization, automation, and system scalability increased, the need grew for a modern, future-proof ERP platform for accounting, controlling, invoicing, and invoice processing.
STREIF sought a solution that consistently leverages standard processes, provides real-time metrics, and grows alongside the company.
Modern, scalable cloud ERP—implemented fast
Standardized, end-to-end digital finance processes
Less manual effort
Greater transparency and data quality
A platform for continued digital transformation
Based on its strategic focus on standardization, innovation, and future-proofing, STREIF chose SAP’s cloud ERP as its new business solution and selected valantic as its partner for the implementation project. valantic stood out, among other things, for
This approach reduces the complexity of transformation projects and enables a go-live in just twelve weeks.
The project team, consisting of experts from STREIF’s Finance, Sales, and IT departments as well as process and cloud experts from valantic, analyzed STREIF’s existing processes and business priorities and subsequently defined the project scope.
Following the “Fit-to-Standard” workshops for Finance and Order-to-Cash and the process configuration based on best practices, the team set up the system landscape in the cloud solution, assisted STREIF in developing the role and authorization concept as well as in onboarding users, and supported the first monthly closing shortly after go-live.
The migration of data and existing project and account structures from the legacy system required particular care. This included accounting requirements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), cost centers, and work breakdown structure (WBS) elements. The conversion of advance payment data and open items was also a sensitive issue, as errors here would have been immediately visible in the balance sheet and customer communications.
It was clear from the start of the project that the go-live had to take place on a fixed date during the summer vacation. In addition, the dedicated core team at STREIF had to manage the migration alongside their day-to-day business operations.
The goal was achieved: STREIF went live with Finance and Order-to-Cash as scheduled; the first monthly closing in the new system followed shortly thereafter.
