A digital framework that simplifies processes

Website relaunch for Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Association

Together with valantic, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Association (TVB Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis) modernized its digital platform. The project focused on a new website framework, seamless single sign-on and an optimized booking process. The result is a stable and powerful foundation that reduces complexity, streamlines workflows and significantly enhances the overall user experience.

Fresh start for a complex system landscape

The challenge.

A complex legacy system that had grown over many years was fundamentally restructured – with clear architecture, high stability, and a foundation that can support future digital requirements.

After seven years of continuous development, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Association’s system was at a turning point: The digital infrastructure needed to be modernized and processes streamlined in order to significantly improve performance and user experience. At the same time, the website, single sign-on (SSO) and booking process had to be strategically and precisely coordinated.

The requirement: a framework that intelligently unites systems, interfaces, and external dependencies, forming a stable foundation for the coming years.

Future-ready framework for maximum performance

The solution.

valantic designed and developed a comprehensive website framework that restructured the entire digital ecosystem of TVB Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. A key element was the relaunch of the main website alongside five additional microsites. The modernized single sign-on (SSO) solution significantly improves the customer journey by enabling one central login for all core services.

At the same time, the new DeMI-based booking process delivers a powerful experience that combines speed, transparency and ease of use. The underlying architecture was built with flexibility in mind, allowing future extensions and integrations to be implemented efficiently.

By combining strategic thinking, technical excellence, and UX-driven design, the solution creates a sustainable digital foundation that will strengthen the region in the long term.

Three systems, one sophisticated architecture

The highlight.

The parallel implementation of the website, the OAuth-based single sign-on solution and the booking process presented a complex challenge. Through structured project management, clear communication and flexible development cycles, all sub-projects were aligned and delivered with precision.

Holidays for the whole family – digitally and on site

The client.

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Association is in charge of one of Tyrol’s most renowned holiday regions – known for its strong focus on families, authentic alpine experiences and an innovative infrastructure that is unique within the Alpine region.

The digital framework also integrates the career pages of the Bergbahnen Fiss cable car company and the Seilbahn Komperdell cable car company, as well as the bike page of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis bike school. With abundant sunshine, the air-cushion subway connecting the villages, and a clear positioning as a family-friendly destination, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is a true pioneer in alpine tourism.

Communication defined by transparency and trust

The collaboration.

The collaboration was defined by trust and open communication. Depending on the project phase, the teams worked either in close partnership or within clearly defined areas of responsibility. In addition, several external stakeholders required data deliveries from the system. Transparent communication and regular alignment ensured that all processes ran smoothly and efficiently.

A key success factor: the long-standing partnership. The Tourism Association has been working with valantic for almost 20 years, a shared history that created mutual understanding and significantly simplified the project.

Stable, innovative and ready for the future

The goal.

The aim was to modernize the digital platform and establish a reliable foundation for the years ahead. Alongside performance, the focus was on user experience, scalability and a clear, well-structured design.

The vision: a framework that meets today’s requirements while leaving room for future technological and strategic developments.

What we achieved

The results.

From the initial workshops to go-live, an interdisciplinary team of 16 experts from valantic was involved. Over the span of 18 months, specialists in project management, UX, design, technology, architecture, system integration and data combined their expertise to develop a future-ready digital framework.

Fourteen months passed between the start of the design phase and the successful launch in October 2025. The impact of the new booking process became evident within the first two weeks after go-live: The platform generated an exceptionally high seven-figure booking volume in a very short time. This clearly demonstrated both its technical performance and economic relevance.

The results highlight the strategic and technical strength of the framework and show how valantic delivers sustainable digital success in the tourism sector.
