SAP S/4HANA

SAP S/4HANA is an intelligent, integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the successor of the previous SAP Business Suite. The new Business Suite is based on the innovative in-memory database SAP HANA and provides live information from all company areas. The “S”” stands for “simple,” the “4” for the fourth product generation, and “HANA”” for the underlying database technology. SAP S/4HANA exists in two versions, on-premise and cloud, and covers all daily processes on through to industry-specific solutions. The SAP Fiori interface provides a new, simplified user experience. For the transformation to SAP S/4HANA, there are essentially three approaches: a complete new implementation (greenfield), conversion of the existing SAP system (brownfield) or transformation with a mixture of the first two approaches.
