Claude Code Training for Developers
As an official Anthropic Select Partner, we’ll show you in two days how to confidently use Claude Code in real-world software projects. You’ll get hands-on experience in live labs, in a small group, and wrap up with your own project.

What can you expect from the Claude Code Training for Developers?
Most developers have already tried Claude Code. Only a few use it really well. In this Claude Code training, you’ll learn a clear development loop: explore the codebase, plan changes, implement them step by step, verify with evidence, review the output, and commit responsibly.
You’ll learn the pitfalls of agentic coding in practice: keeping context under control instead of letting sessions balloon. Know when a reset is needed. Analyze a failed agent run and understand what went wrong. Keep an eye on costs. And maintain responsibility for architecture, quality, and security as Claude writes an ever-larger portion of the code.
You’ll work through all the modules hands-on:
- CLAUDE.md and Plan Mode
- Context Engineering
- Skills, MCP, and Subagents
- Evaluations and Diagnosis of Failed Agent Runs
- Cost-Effective Development
Day 2 is dedicated to your own project: You’ll bring a task from your work and apply the method directly. You’ll leave the training with at least one reusable artifact—such as a skill, a subagent, or a project-specific CLAUDE.md—that your team can build upon afterward.
The training is conducted in English.
Hands-on by Design: About half of the time is dedicated to lab work—there’s a hands-on exercise for every topic. No theory session lasts longer than 30 minutes. And because the basics are covered in the pre-work and the cloud environment is verified in advance, the time spent on-site is dedicated to building, not to setup.

What we’ve deliberately left out: SDK development (agent building is a follow-up topic, not something covered in a crash course), tricks for crafting prompts (workflow discipline trumps clever phrasing), and contrived practice exercises. Each of these decisions keeps the two-day session focused on the essentials: mastering Claude Code.
Who is the Claude Code Training for Developers intended for?
This training is designed for software developers across all tech stacks and roles who want to use agentic coding responsibly in real production environments. This is not an introduction to AI, nor is it a prompt engineering seminar. The focus is on the application layer surrounding the model: context, workflow, verification, governance, and cost discipline. This is the level at which it is determined whether Agentic Coding works in production.
You do not need any prior experience with Claude Code. You should be comfortable navigating a development environment: reading and modifying code, working with Git, running tests, and assessing software quality.

Instead of self-paced video lessons, you’ll participate in a facilitated small-group workshop featuring live labs, peer discussions, and trainers who use Claude Code in client projects. The approach is based on familiar engineering principles: developer accountability, code review, and long-term maintainability. Claude changes how the work is done—not who is responsible for it.
Requirements
Pre-Work (approx. 2 to 3 hours, required)
Basics of AI applications, foundation models, Claude model capabilities, Claude for Enterprise, and Cowork. This ensures the group starts with a common foundation, and the two days are dedicated to hands-on practice.

The Lab environment is verified before training begins. GitHub Codespaces is the default; a validated Dev Container setup serves as a fallback.
For Day 2
Bring a task from your own work. Real-world, clearly defined engineering tasks are ideal—ones in which Claude Code explores an existing codebase, proposes a plan, implements a change, and verifies the result.

Training is a starting point, not an endpoint.
This training course prepares participants for the “Claude Certified Architect – Foundations” certification, a recognized next milestone in the Anthropic ecosystem.
If you want to move from using the SDK to building with it, the Anthropic Academy offers relevant follow-up courses on the Agent SDK and subagents (self-paced, free).
Skills, subagents, and workflows from the training are added to your team library: living assets that get better with every use.
Frequently Asked Questions About Claude Code Training (FAQ)
No. You should be comfortable working in a development environment, be able to use Git, and be able to run tests. The training will teach you how to use Claude Code.
The training will be conducted in English. A level of English proficiency sufficient for a technical workshop is required.

A real-world, clearly defined engineering problem from your own work. You will apply the method to this problem during the hackathon session.
