The Focus is on Business
A key differentiator of SAP BTP is its business-oriented focus. SAP’s PaaS provides a wide range of services and content that is pre-packaged for specific requirements, such as country-specific tax calculations and electronic invoices. To expand existing SAP applications and the development of new solutions, SAP BTP provides a comprehensive set of business APIs, industry and industry-specific content, pre-configured workflows, and bots for robotic process automation (RPA). As a result, companies can benefit from innovation quickly.
The open platform is available for the hyperscaler AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and Google Cloud Platform, allowing customers to choose their infrastructure operator. In addition, SAP BTP enables interoperability with many development services from other PaaS vendors and the open-source community.
Quick Start and Flexible Payment Models
The SAP S/4HANA transformation package RISE with SAP, which also includes a credit for SAP BTP, makes it possible to get started quickly. SAP also offers various payment models for use. Customers can either purchase a monthly subscription to specific services or purchase cloud credits in advance for use through the Cloud Platform Enterprise Agreement (CPEA) and redeem them. The pay-as-you-go model allows services to be consumed as needed and paid for on a per-consumption basis. The subscription model can also be combined with one of the CPEA or pay-as-you-go models in a global account.
