RRICB is a standard SAP function. The full range of functions is only available in an ERP system with the same controlling area. We are happy to assist with SAP implementation.
In our demo case, we used the standard order type PM01. Depending on customer requirements, the RRICB process can be specified for individual order types. Individual order types can be explicitly approved or blocked for RRICB. This is also possible outside the PM context.
All CO objects and cost elements available in the SAP standard are technically applicable.
Cross-company code costs can be controlled via a budgeting process. Order budgeting can be used for this purpose, for example. Another option is to restrict the costs to be allocated using Z programs. The general contractual framework conditions for cooperation between the individual companies should be regulated in SLAs.
In the next RRICB run, the amount of the cancellation (material/service) will be invoiced as a credit note.
Yes, we offer this. The functions are available with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition Version 2023. SAP is currently still developing a lot in the service area. You should therefore try to use the latest release.
There are similar fields in the service request or even in the quotation if you use S/4 Service. If you use Advanced Execution, you can create a PM notification at the same time via the PM order.
The functionalities can now be covered well with Advanced Execution. However, you should check whether the S/4HANA service might also be an alternative.
