New Expertise in the Areas of Cloud, IIoT, BPM Mobility and Automotive
Munich/Eschborn/Berlin, October 20, 2021: Digital consulting and software company valantic continues its expansion course and, through the merger with SyroCon AG, now also has a presence in the technology areas Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Business Process Management (BPM). SyroCon and valantic’s Supply Chain Excellence division will be pooling their resources in future to form the new 350-strong Smart Industries unit, offering customers even better support for IIoT solutions and cloud strategies as well as e-mobility and autonomous driving.
Like valantic, SyroCon also sees itself as a trusted partner on the path to digital transformation and supports customers from a wide range of industries on this journey. SyroCon will be pooling its expertise with valantic Supply Chain Excellence to form the new valantic Smart Industries division. The combination of SCE’s industrial process competence and SyroCon’s IIoT expertise will in future let customers benefit from fully integrated, fitter-for-purpose solutions for business process digitization and innovative, new business models.
SyroCon is also a valuable boost for valantic in the area of system migrations to the cloud. As an AWS Advanced Partner, it brings the expertise and technology skills needed to support customers in their cloud-first strategies – not only in terms of migrating their legacy systems but also for developing cloud-native applications. In the future fields of e-mobility and autonomous driving – both being markets defined by their enormous pace of innovation – SyroCon develops and operates platforms for manufacturing industry customers.
The two companies combine technological excellence with in-depth industry knowledge and human proximity. valantic has a holocratic partner model centering on the sovereignty of its partners coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset. More than 500 blue chip customers trust in valantic, including 28 of the 40 DAX-listed corporations as well as many leading Austrian and Swiss companies.
The two board members and founders of SyroCon AG, Dr. Markus Eisel and Markus Hartmann, emphasize: “We were looking for a partner who fundamentally shares our values and appreciates our corporate culture, and who, above all, also shares our vision of offering our customers the full spectrum of services on the path to digital transformation. In valantic, we’ve found a partner for whom our expertise is a welcome addition and whose corporate structure combines the advantages of a large international company with the agility and customer focus of an SME. We’re greatly looking forward to a successful future together!”
Martin Hofer, Partner and Managing Director of valantic Supply Chain Excellence sees SyroCon’s expertise as an excellent portfolio extension in a rapidly growing innovation field: “Supply Chain Excellence is now bundling its many years’ experience in optimizing value chains and enhancing logistics performance with SyroCon’s proficiency. In the future, we will be able to deliver innovative IIoT solutions – from design and implementation, through to operation – thereby contributing significantly to our customers’ long-term viability.
Together, we’re able to create transparency across horizontally and vertically integrated production networks, letting us offer our customers the full range of consulting and end-to-end solutions for digitally transforming their value-creation and business processes.”
“The merger with SyroCon broadens our service portfolio in the Smart Industries division in a range of areas. Together with our customers, the division, with its 350-plus experts, can now sustainably shape the design, implementation and operation of company-wide IIoT solutions as well as burning topics of the future, such as cloud strategies, smart mobility and autonomous driving,” explains valantic CEO and partner, Holger von Daniels.
