Internet agency ranking of the BVDW: valantic secures top 5 position

Strong market position despite challenging environment

Munich, May 19, 2026: The digital consulting, solutions and software house valantic has once again maintained its position in the top group of Germany’s largest digital agencies in the Internet Agency Ranking 2026 of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V. (BVDW). In the current ranking, valantic holds the 5th position, thereby underscoring its status as one of the leading end-to-end digital partners in the German-speaking market. A total of 129 agencies were included in this year’s BVDW evaluation.

With its Internet Agency Ranking, the BVDW provides an annual, neutral overview of market developments within the German digital industry. The ranking focuses in particular on the number of employees at service providers as well as their fee-based revenue generated from digital agency services. The 2026 overall ranking reflects a challenging market environment: The combined fee revenue of all listed agencies rose only slightly by 0.9 percent compared to the previous year. The combined number of employees at the listed service providers fell by a total of 2.88 percent.

Stable positioning in a consolidated market
