A humanoid robot in the lobby, drones flying over Davos, quadrupeds moving amongst people and buildings: for a few days, the town offered a glimpse into the next ten years. Over 30 intelligent systems demonstrated how robotics and AI are making the transition from laboratories and demonstrations into everyday life – in motion and interacting directly with people.
Where Robotics meets Business Reality
Davos as ‘Robot City’
For four days, Davos became a real-world testing ground for robotics, physical AI and intelligent automation. Over 30 autonomous systems demonstrated how AI and robotics can function in real-world environments, beyond laboratories and showcase settings.
valantic was on site as an industry partner of the Robot City Awards and covered the most exciting technologies, discussions and practical examples.
AI is finally moving beyond the screen. Humanoid robots, autonomous drones and intelligent assistance systems have impressively demonstrated how physical AI will support operational processes in the future.
The focus was not on the capabilities of individual robots, but on the question: How can intelligent systems be meaningfully integrated into existing business processes?
The most impressive demonstrations were not the most spectacular robots, but the applications in which robotics, AI and enterprise systems worked together seamlessly.
Embodied AI
From software to physical systems.
Hyperautomation
Smart end-to-end processes rather than individual automation steps.
Smart Operations
Robotics is becoming part of the value chain.
valantic was an official industry partner of the Robot City Awards at the Davos Tech Summit 2026.
The awards recognise pioneering technologies and intelligent robotics solutions that demonstrate how robotics, physical AI and autonomous systems can collaborate with people, infrastructure and businesses in the future.
The award-winning applications illustrate how robotics is already solving real-world challenges today and creating new opportunities for industry and society.
We congratulate the winners:
🏆 Award for the most impactful real-world application: ANYmal by ANYbotics was recognised as the best robotics application for the integration and utilisation of inspection data within SAP.
🏆 Robot for Society: FlashBot Max, the delivery robot from Pudu Robotics, was recognised as the application offering the greatest benefit to society.
🏆 People’s Robot: Aru, the shape-shifting inspection robot from Nio Robotics, received the most votes from visitors to our Robot City.
Our experts help companies integrate smart technologies into their existing processes – from strategy through to implementation.
