Gasunie is a leading transmission system operator and plays a key role in the development of a European hydrogen network. With valantic’s support, the company developed a well-founded procurement strategy that systematically takes sustainability aspects into account. Gasunie plays a central role in developing a resource-efficient energy infrastructure in Europe. Sustainability aspects are therefore to be systematically embedded in its procurement processes. The objective was to create transparency regarding the status quo. In addition, a concrete framework for integrating ESG criteria into procurement was developed, with a particular focus on industry-specific requirements and timelines.
