The company’s strong growth led to increasing complexity in operational processes, particularly in the supply chain and order processing. A strategic realignment of supply chain management was necessary in order to be able to continue to react flexibly and profitably to market requirements. The aim was to raise process efficiency, inventory management and the fulfillment of future requirements to a new level.

Strategies and measures for a future-proof supply chain

Working closely with Axxence, we conducted a comprehensive potential analysis that laid the foundation for a targeted improvement program. The approach comprised the following steps:

  1. Identification of optimization potentials
    A systematic analysis was used to identify weaknesses and areas for action within the supply chain. The analysis ranged from operational processes to strategic issues in order to enable a holistic improvement.
  2. Development of an action plan
    Based on the results of the analysis, a catalog of measures with ten central packages was developed. These covered the entire value chain and aimed to achieve a balance between efficiency, availability and cost structure.
  3. Implementation of strategic management elements
    By defining clear key figures and strategies, the basis for actively managing the supply chain was created. This enabled data-driven optimization and transparent monitoring of measures.
