Website relaunch with a focus on innovative digital travel commerce
A freerider’s dream in winter, a hiking paradise in summer: Silvretta Montafon is the go-to destination for sports enthusiasts in the Vorarlberg mountains. At the beginning of the 2023/24 winter season, Silvretta Montafon joined forces with valantic Austria to advance its digital processes. The objective was clear: to integrate all operational facets – mountain cableways, equipment rental, hotels and restaurants – into a unified online experience.
Together, valantic Austria and incert eTourismus have once again demonstrated that they’re a “best-of-breed” pairing. They’ve created a digital platform that ensures a seamless visitor experience, raising the bar in digital travel.

Silvretta Montafon is taking its marketing strategy to the next level: together with valantic, a performance-driven full-funnel campaign was launched in the 2024/25 winter season!
In recent years, Silvretta Montafon has steadily expanded its online services. The final piece of the puzzle followed in 2024: The e-commerce process underwent a complete overhaul as part of this showcase project. Both the internal and user-facing aspects were streamlined for optimal use. The website now features the possibility to book experiences, buy merchandise, or purchase vouchers and gift cards.
Beyond a cutting-edge redesign, the entire technical concept was revamped and implemented. This included the launch of a new web store for tickets, rental equipment, experiences, and events, as well as various interfaces to the point-of-sale, payment, and property management systems of Silvretta Montafon businesses. It’s a clever solution designed to facilitate integration and embed everything seamlessly within the operational workflows.
In addition to the integration with Axess for ticketing via API, the newly developed interface from incert to Pimcore has been crucial for enhancing the user experience. Now, everything from booking experiences to purchasing vouchers and merchandise can be handled online – from a single source.
A standout feature of the website is also the digital sale of experiences on and around the mountains. Full integration across all systems through interfaces with Pimcore enables the combined booking of various services. Tickets for mountain cableways, restaurants, experiences, events, rental equipment, vouchers, merchandise, and more can all be added to a single shopping cart.
As a foundation for future customer loyalty initiatives, the new customer account allows users to manage their data, tickets, previous purchases, vouchers, and other services.
