Quick benchmarking at ADAC

ADAC, Europe’s largest automobile club, employs more than 2,000 people and generates revenues of over 200 million euros. To increase the efficiency of its procurement department, valantic conducted a remote benchmarking exercise.

The project

The challenge

ADAC’s procurement organization has to combine numerous requirements and internal customer wishes. The aim of the project was to determine the current maturity level of the procurement department and to identify optimization potential in order to strategically develop the central procurement department.

Consulting approach

In order to tackle the challenges in a targeted manner, the benchmarking followed a clear methodology based on the valantic benchmarking framework. The focus was on
