Impressive UX

The challenge.

Four locations. One goal. A memorable digital experience – for locals and tourists alike.

Galtür, Ischgl, Kappl, and See: Four destinations, each with its own unique character and charm. The Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association faced the challenge of uniting them under one digital roof. The solution: a unified platform that embraces individuality and delivers an impressive and intuitive user experience.

A central framework for the entire region.

The solution.

valantic developed a dynamic multi-client framework that flexibly adapts to the CI/CD of each destination on the front end. While built on a shared technical foundation, each site retains its unique look and feel. The platform seamlessly connects all services – from ski passes to accommodation bookings – through smart integrations with systems like Skidata, Feratel, General Solutions, and more. Cross-linking between the destinations simplifies planning and makes it easier for users to combine experiences across the entire valley.

Digital vacations that wow visitors.

The highlight.

The new ischgl.com unites information, inspiration, booking, and service in a single, powerful platform. A personalized customer account allows users to access order histories and manage wishlists with ease. Real-time updates on weather, slope conditions, and avalanche risk, along with a central magazine, provide valuable insights for planning the perfect stay. Another key feature: the “Paznaun Crew” job portal – a high-performance, intuitive solution for both employers and job seekers that’s easy to manage and update. More than just a technical upgrade, the new system creates a digital experience hub for both guests and locals.

Paznaun – Ischgl: four destinations – one association.

The client.

The Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association serves as the umbrella organization for four Alpine destinations in Tyrol. Each location offers something unique: Galtür is all about fresh mountain air and tranquility. Ischgl stands for lifestyle and high-profile events. Kappl embodies tradition and culture. And See appeals with family-friendly charm and unspoiled nature. Why not combine the best of all worlds? Since 2011, valantic has been the association’s digital partner, working together to drive tourism digitalization in the Paznaun valley – with courage, data-driven strategies, and a deep understanding of both users and the region.

Partnership-based digital innovation.

The collaboration.

The relaunch marked the fourth major digital project realized by valantic in partnership with the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association. Implemented in an iterative and agile manner, the project was characterized by close collaboration, technical excellence, and strategic foresight. valantic served not just as a technical service provider, but as a true digital partner – focusing on user experience, usability, performance, and long-term scalability. What made this project stand out was the commitment to continuous optimization through data-driven testing, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and Web Performance Optimization (WPO).

A framework for diversity.

The objective.

The aim of the relaunch was to create a system that meets all requirements: technological scalability, brand-specific presentation of individual destinations, central content management, and maximum user-friendliness. In short: a future-ready, high-performance framework with an experiential character.

Measurable success for the Paznaun valley.

The results.

With a clear navigation structure and improved page load speeds, the new website offers an improved user experience across the board. Positive effects are also evident in paid marketing: increased ROAS, greater reach, and higher engagement rates clearly demonstrate the success of the relaunch. The consistent integration of technology, content, and marketing is proving to be a powerful and sustainable strategy.
