More efficient supply chain at XOX Group

The XOX Group was faced with the challenge of managing its growing supply chain more efficiently. Together with valantic, planning, inventory and display processes were comprehensively analyzed and potential for increasing efficiency was identified. The measures derived from this ensured delivery capability and led to significant savings in the six-figure range.

About the company

The XOX Group is a leading German manufacturer of snacks with a turnover of over 50 million euros. In cooperation with valantic, the company analyzed central supply chain processes and implemented targeted optimizations in planning, inventory management and warehouse logistics. The outcome was a reliable delivery capability, reduced costs, and more efficient warehouse management.

The project

The challenge

The XOX Group has grown strongly in recent years and has developed into one of Germany’s leading snack producers. Numerous external warehouses for raw and finished goods were used to ensure delivery capability. Nevertheless, the delivery performance was assessed as inadequate, which necessitated optimization measures along the entire supply chain.

3. Analysis of inventory management

  • Implementation of an ABC-XYZ analysis for inventory classification
  • Stock range analysis to derive stock reductions
  • Checking the system support in the warehouse area

4. Optimization of the display process

  • Recording of the entire processes
  • Definition of measures to ensure timely completion and delivery capability

Solutions & results in detail

The XOX Group, in collaboration with valantic, analyzed its supply chain processes and identified a six-figure savings potential. Building on this, concrete measures were implemented to secure delivery capability—partly with and partly without IT adjustments. Furthermore, optimized inventory management enabled more efficient utilization of warehouse space.

Conclusion

In collaboration with valantic, the XOX Group strategically strengthened its supply chain. The optimized processes enhanced planning accuracy, reduced costs, and ensured a sustainable and reliable supply.
