A Process-Oriented and Data-Driven Approach to Gathering International Insights
Data-Driven A/B Testing in 4 Countries: +6.5% Revenue Growth
Harman International partnered with valantic to take its conversion optimization to the next level – internationally, scalable, and measurable. Through a process-oriented approach and data-driven A/B testing across four countries, Harman gained deep insights into customer behavior, cultural differences, and usability. The results speak for themselves: a 6.5% annual revenue increase and an impressive ROI of 1,069%.
The challenge
Harman was already active in conversion optimization but wanted to scale up and go deeper. The company sought more robust A/B testing to achieve a greater impact – and therefore needed a partner with proven expertise. Harman aimed to gain better insights into usability and customer behavior across multiple webshops in different countries. With A/B testing, the company wanted to understand not just what worked, but why certain elements succeeded or failed.
Our approach
A/B testing
Each A/B test was conducted in at least four webshops across different countries – taking cultural and linguistic differences fully into account.
Mapping Barriers and Opportunities
This approach enabled us to identify user behavior patterns, as well as country-specific barriers and opportunities.
Prioritizing A/B Tests
By combining these insights, we were able to better prioritize tests and substantiate hypotheses – ultimately achieving an even greater impact.
Our process-based approach is entirely data-driven. Drawing from multiple data sources – including Contentsquare, Google Analytics, on-site feedback, and usability research – we define priorities, develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, and analyze the outcomes.
