Get to know usManaging over 24,000 items more efficiently – BabyOne relies on digital product data management.
The implementation of Akeneo as the central PIM solution at BabyOne was a decisive step toward optimizing the maintenance and management of product data for the extensive range of over 24,000 items in the long term. Prior to this change, data management was characterized by time-consuming, manual processes that took place in different systems and were organized using Excel lists. This approach led to low transparency and considerable administrative effort. With the introduction of automated data processes through SDM connections and an API-first strategy, it was possible to drastically simplify processes and significantly increase efficiency.
Challenge
Multiple manual data maintenance of product data in different systems and only in the saleable item (SKU). Organization of priorities based on an Excel list.
Consulting approach
Akeneo is used as the central data management system. Its ease of use, SDM (supplier connection), and API-first orientation were particularly convincing.
Customer benefits and solution
Central storage and maintenance of product and media data, as well as enrichment through rule-based automation. The system’s good UX and data maintenance with inheritance.
