Exploiting the potential of IT and digitization with passion, empathy, and an unrelenting focus on his customers’ business success” – this has been the approach of Matthias Uhrig since the establishment of INTARGIA, the strategic consulting unit for digitization of the valantic Group. He has remained true to this goal until today: as a consultant, sparring partner, and – for much longer – a companion to companies and top managers. His support is critical to these people not just in “sunny times,” frequently he is also an experienced advisor and organizing hand in his clients’ crisis situations.
Matthias Uhrig studied business administration and business informatics at the Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt and then worked as Scientific Assistant to help establish the chair for business informatics at the private university for corporate management WHU in Koblenz. In 1989, he established INTARGIA Managementberatung GmbH, which he sold to valantic in 2018 and now continues to manage as CEO and Partner of the valantic Group. Matthias is the author of many books and trade articles and a publicly appointed and sworn expert in information processing. Customer know how to appreciate his advice not just in classic consulting projects, but also in other formats. This is why, among other things, he is an advisor to the government of Hessia on IT questions and the chair of the international tea company Ronnefeldt.
