What are your main duties at valantic?

In Switzerland, I have overall responsibility for enterprise planning, advanced analytics, and data management. Our interdisciplinary team uses market-leading technologies to analyze and optimize our customers’ planning processes and data structures. In doing so, we accompany our customers from strategic and tactical through to operational and predictive planning. Central data management, vertically and horizontally integrated planning processes, and statistical forecasting play a central role in this. Our customized platform solutions fully map our customers’ needs and business objectives. By networking collaborative planning processes and appropriate visualizations, our customers enjoy strategic competitive advantages.

What are you passionate about?

I am a team player and I really enjoy working together to push the operational success of our customers. My goal is to break free of outdated patterns of thought. Our excellent technical skills and industry know-how lead us to innovative solutions for optimizing our customers’ value creation – through the smart networking of data, people, and processes. In a nutshell: Data, analytics, and planning projects with market-leading solutions, a minimum time to value, and acceptance of nothing short of the highest quality.

Marc, what did you do before joining valantic?

I have been Managing Director of valantic Business Analytics since 2017. Before that, I worked internationally in leading positions at consulting firms and software manufacturers. I hold a Master of Science in Business Informatics from the University of Münster.
