Interview with Christoph Resch, Partner and Managing Director at valantic

From October 11 to 13, the DSAG annual congress will once again open its doors to visitors and exhibitors in Leipzig. valantic will be present with a booth at the partner exhibition, a customer presentation on digitalization with SAP Cloud products at KWS SAAT, and an impressive live demo! This is enough reason for an interview with Christoph Resch, Partner and Managing Director at valantic. We would like to find out why the congress is the event for all SAP users.

Christoph, you have been on the move for a long time in the community of the German SAP user group, or DSAG for short. Among other things, you are deputy spokesman for AK Mobile Business and a member of several different ones. Why should companies attend the DSAG annual congress?

The DSAG annual conference is the community event for all companies that use or want to use SAP products. Nowhere else do you get as many targeted impulses around the SAP world as at this top event of the world’s largest user group. And nowhere else are the advantages and disadvantages of the solutions discussed as openly as they are here.

What tasks or problems does valantic solve for its customers?

All companies face major or minor challenges in the context of digitalization. In order not to stand alone in the rain, a reliable partner is indispensable, one who thinks beyond the confines of SAP, but who also understands and can use SAP technology end-to-end. We solve problems on three levels: business, experience, and IT, with a deep understanding of processes, user expectations and technology.

What is your focus when talking to visitors in the booth?

I would like to understand exactly where a company, but also the contact person, is located, what the individual challenges are, and where our experience can help.

What topics are most important to you for face-to-face discussions in the booth?

The company’s business strategies and the resulting challenges in terms of experience and technology are of particular importance to me. It is also important for me to work out in concrete terms what the added value of working with us is.

Is there a talk at the DSAG annual congress that you absolutely want to see?

There are a few: On the one hand, of course, the keynote speeches; on the other hand, I am interested in Gerolsteiner’s CX-Journey, our joint lecture with KWS Saat, and last but not least the final lecture by Richard David Precht.

Thank you very much for your time and the interview, Christoph!

We are looking forward to seeing all visitors from October 11-13 at our booth N1 in the Congress Center Leipzig. valantic will be happy to support you in all phases of your transformation – from the development of the strategy to the road map planning to the implementation. We’ll be happy to talk to you!

White paper: Changing Customer Relationships

Digitalization is transforming the customer journey from analog to digital. Customers in B2B as well as B2C are already well-informed before they buy. In short: they interact digitally.
