Tatjana Kilb, 36, joined valantic in October 2017 after a personal interview. In her role as Business Analyst, she provides insight into the SAP Customer Experience project world, the constant learning process, and she explains why everybody is working together at valantic.

How was your start at valantic?

I got to know valantic in a long and very pleasant personal interview. valantic’s unconventional manner made it possible to really get to know the company during this interview. No pre-formulated questions, no examination atmosphere – it was really fun! Even during this interview, I had already made my decision in favor of valantic. Why? I had the feeling that the culture, the joy, and the cohesion that we spoke about in the interview described the way things really are at valantic.

In my first week of work, I got a very good overview of valantic during the introductory program; the working culture and organizational structures. It was great that the introduction was provided by various team members. This way, I had the opportunity to get to know a lot of colleagues in a very short time.

Before my time at valantic, I had no experience at all with SAP.
Precisely for the introduction to this topic, I always had an experienced colleague at my side whom I could ask and the other colleagues were also always willing to help.

What do you especially like about valantic?

At valantic, I meet kindred spirits. All the colleagues work together and share the same attitude toward work. As a team, we can achieve much better results much faster and have fun in the process. In contrast to other consulting companies, at valantic there are no rigid dress code and fixed work structures; I really like this. We work in an agile fashion and adjust the way we’re working flexibly to the projects. I also really appreciate the occasional cooperation with colleagues from other areas. I have the opportunity to work on cross-disciplinary projects and get interesting insights into the various specialized areas.

What are the challenges of your job?

At valantic, no one day is like another. As a team, we handle a wide variety of SAP Customer Experience projects and we constantly work with our customers to confront new challenges. Each day, I work with state-of-the-art technologies, which allows me to develop constantly. I also have the opportunity to grow into my tasks and to take over more responsibility on subsequent projects.

What do you do as a Business Analyst in the SAP Customer Experience sector?

At valantic, we believe that comprehensive project support is essential. That’s why we handle mostly long-term projects: so that we can help our customers with new integration in the SAP Customer Experience sector as well as with optimizing existing SAP platforms.

As a Business Analyst for SAP Customer Experience Solutions, my focus is on the process level. This means, that at the beginning of a SAP Customer Experience project, I work with all project participants and conduct a process analysis with subsequent process modeling. This step is done in an interactive workshop with our customers. After all requirements have been recorded and discussed, the valantic team moves the project into the realization phase. The focus of my work is on the configuration and customizing of the system, data migration, troubleshooting, and constant communication with the customer.
