valantic Climbs to Fourth Place in BVDW Internet Agency Ranking

Growth in Revenue and Workforce

Munich, May 27, 2024: The digital consulting, solutions and software house valantic has continued its ascent in the German Internet agency ranking conducted by Germany’s digital economy association Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V. (BVDW). Following its debut among the top five largest digital agencies last year, valantic has now secured fourth place in the current ranking. The improved position reflects valantic’s continued growth in both revenue and workforce. This year’s BVDW assessment covered 141 agencies.

The annual BVDW internet agency ranking provides a neutral overview of market trends within the German digital industry, focusing on the number of employees and the fee revenues digital agencies generate with their services. valantic, known for its extensive customer experience (CX) portfolio, made significant strides with these services in the latest ranking. Double-digit percentage growth in the number of employees and revenues propelled valantic to the fourth position.

Fee revenues rise by EUR 17 million

valantic’s total CX fee revenues grew approximately 14 percent, from EUR 121 million to around EUR 138 million, consolidating its position among Germany’s top five largest providers, a status it achieved for the first time last year.

Uwe Tüben, Partner and Managing Director of valantic, comments: “The past financial year has shown that corporate customers are increasingly seeking partners capable of holistically supporting interdisciplinary digital experience projects, from the customer interface to the ERP backend. That we can now optimally meet this demand with our end-to-end expertise was also a crucial growth driver in 2023. At the same time, we have highly professional teams who are approachable and work quickly, even with short-notice projects, which is vital in the dynamic CX sector.”

Investments in being an attractive employer

Alongside its increased fee revenues, valantic recruited many new employees, boosting its workforce by approximately 11 percent to over 1,100. “Last year, we focused on maximizing our appeal as an employer, since our employees are the cornerstone of our sustained growth. This included providing top-tier facilities at our offices and workplaces and fostering development opportunities for our colleagues. In 2023, we focused above all on employee enablement for the era of generative AI”, says Uwe Tüben.

While Customer Experience Services remain one of valantic’s key business lines, the company has recently bolstered its presence in other market areas too. valantic advises companies on all aspects of digital transformation, helps them to manage corporate performance more successfully, profitably leverage core digitalization technologies, optimize their business processes end-to-end, and harness the potential of data and AI. As a digital consulting, solutions, and software house, valantic is increasingly aligning itself for international growth.
