Siegburg is part of the Rhineland metropolitan region and is situated right outside the gates of Cologne and Bonn. Despite its proximity to these densely populated areas, the city has retained its own unmistakable character: modern and attractive, nonetheless cozy and lovable.
If you apply for a job in Siegburg, you’ll have a wonderful view of the Siebengebirge and the abbey on the Michaelsberg that presides over the city. In winter, the city’s famous medieval Christmas market draws people at lunchtime and after work to share a cup of mulled wine. In summer, a quick tour on the nearby Ho-Chi-Minh-Trail, which is legendary among mountain bikers, is well worth the time.
