Although Šiauliai can claim to be the biggest city in Northern Lithuania, it’s quite compact, laidback and cozy. Proudly known as the country’s bicycle capital, it’s home to the largest bike factory in Lithuania and a unique bicycle museum.
Micro-mobility was a thing in Šiauliai before it became a fad in many other parts of Europe. How else do you explain that the city has the third oldest pedestrian boulevard on the continent?
Speaking of micro-mobility, our team has a fine collection of e-scooters they use to get around the city. Why take a car when you can feel the wind in your hair as you navigate the streets of Šiauliai? Another favorite pastime of our colleagues in Šiauliai is tinkering with the in-house 3D.
