Why should life be complicated if it can be easy? More and more companies are accelerating application development and process optimization with no-code/low-code tools such as SAP Build. And that’s a good thing. After all, users usually know exactly where the problems lie. With the help of appropriate solutions, they can make the necessary adjustments quickly and, above all, precisely. According to a recent study by CIO, CSO, and Computerwoche, almost one in three companies (32%) chose to use no-code/low-code for this very reason.

The solution consists of three key components: SAP Build Apps facilitates application development, SAP Build Process Automation automates workflows and processes, and the SAP Build Work Zone provides employees with centralized access to relevant applications, services, and information. In addition, numerous SAP BTP tools and functions complement the work with SAP Build.

Time is money. Bringing applications to market as quickly as possible and making them accessible to specialist areas are becoming increasingly critical to success. With a variety of templates and pre-built components for user interfaces (UI), SAP Build significantly accelerates development. In addition, new applications can be developed much more cheaply by re-using existing components. This also benefits the return on investment.

Software development using a modular principle reduces personnel pressure in the IT department. Thanks to SAP Build, employees from Controlling, HR, Sales, and Logistics can implement their own application ideas and make adjustments independently without support from their IT colleagues. This leaves the IT employees more time for strategic and technically demanding tasks. SAP’s low-code platform makes a significant contribution to ensuring that stress levels and personnel requirements in IT remain manageable.
