valantic takes 7th place in the internet agency ranking of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V.

Shooting Star of the CX Industry

Munich, May 18, 2022: The digitalization, consulting, and software specialist valantic is represented in the German internet agency ranking of the Bundesverbands Digitale Wirtschaft e.V. (BVDW) and has taken 7th place in the top 10. This award is due to the particularly strong growth in the customer experience sector in 2021, with a significant increase in revenue as compared to the preceding year.

The internet agency ranking, compiled annually since 2001 by the BVDW together with werben & verkaufen (W&V), Horizont, and HighText iBusiness, is considered the industry barometer for German internet agencies. According to BVDW, it therefore illuminates an important segment of the digital value chain. At the same time, there is also a neutral orientation and guidance within the industry.

According to the editorial staff of iBusiness, valantic as an agency has achieved “very strong growth” in revenue, which has brought the company up to 7th place in the customer experience sector in the 2021 German internet agency ranking. In fact, valantic almost doubled its CX revenue in Germany in 2021, from EUR 50 million to 90 million.

Success of strategic mergers

Reto Rutz, Partner and Managing Director of valantic, explains this success in these words: “As the valantic group, we have grown a great deal, especially in the last two years of pandemic activity.”

Rutz continues, stating two reasons for this: “On the one hand, with more than 2.500 international specialists in all digitalization disciplines, we are able to cope with every task and, with the expertise that we have built up internally, we are able to implement large projects and digitalization projects for our customers.”

“On the other hand, thanks to a series of strategic mergers in 2021, we were not only able to integrate new partners with strong expertise into the valantic cosmos, but also to diversify our range of services and open up new fields of service. We will continue to build on this success with valantic CX forecasts for the coming years,” says the CX expert.

CX is increasingly important, but it’s not valantic’s only growth engine

Although CX agency business is becoming increasingly important for valantic, it is not the only area in which the group, which is headquartered in Munich, has been able to grow rapidly in Germany and Europe over the past few years. Among other things, valantic recorded strong growth in the areas of SAP services, SAP and IBM solutions, smart industries & Industry 4.0, digital strategy & analytics, artificial intelligence, and supply chain excellence.
