- As a Formula Developer / Support Engineer (all genders) you will be part of the currently 7-member, very cooperative and dynamic team at the Frankfurt location, the "2nd Level Support Trading Systems"
- For the customer support of our trading system for shares, derivatives & Co, we are looking for colleagues who specialise in the creation and maintenance of calculation methods
- Calculation methods include the electronic implementation of so-called pricing procedures for securities and their trading strategies on various electronic markets. And this is anything but a "dry subject"
- Our trading system has an Excel-like formula language that allows securities traders to create such quite complex calculation methods and who are looking for our support in doing so
- As a future Formula Computation Specialist, you will be very familiar with the application and the IT behind it on the one hand, and on the other hand, you will have technical knowledge, such as good knowledge of the market model of the Xetra stock exchange
- Curious how you get there? Well, you will start with a training period of several months by the team, and gradually you will take over the following tasks
- Receiving and analysing client requests regarding the creation and modification of calculation methods within our trading system, their specification, implementation, testing and going live (focus)
- The creation of the formulas usually follows an interactive and iterative process with the customer (trader) and requires good communication and, if necessary, coordination between customers, support, development and test teams
- Supporting the team in analysing and reproducing customer problems after the initial capture by the helpdesk
- Troubleshooting including remote analysis on customer systems or systems in managed SaaS operation - with a focus on calculation methods
- Solution-oriented communication with the customer as well as monitoring of open customer enquiries and tickets
- Installation of our software and updates in the customer system as well as support in projects
- Implementation of internal and external trainings (formula creation)
What distinguishes you
MUST HAVE:
- Mathematician or physicist or similar with a strong soft spot for IT or an IT'ler with a pronounced passion for mathematical problems - gladly also as a career changer
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux or Windows) and common standard software
- Fluent in German (C1) and a good command of written and spoken English

- Independent, structured and careful way of working, solution-oriented combined with very good communication skills

- First programming skills (e.g. bash, Python, Java, C++, ...)
