As an Application Support Specialist – Focus on Systems Integration (all genders), you are part of our second-level helpdesk and make sure that our sophisticated capital markets software runs reliably for our clients. Your main tasks include:
- Contributing to the integration, commissioning and support of our software systems
- Supporting projects and helping to ensure compliance with applicable quality and security standards
- Handling customer requests and offering efficient solution options
- Providing technical support during the acquisition and planning phase
- Working in a shift model to cover our internationally active clients (especially in North America)
- On-call duty as well as work on public holidays and weekends, with appropriate compensation
What distinguishes you
MUST HAVE:
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable technical training, e.g. as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker/in), or equivalent experience
- Solid general IT understanding
- Knowledge of Java applications, C++ or Linux
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking and commitment
- Customer-oriented communication, a strong sense of responsibility and a high degree of team spirit
- Good written and spoken German and English skills, at least at B2 level
NICE TO HAVE:
- Assertiveness, resilience and self-confidence
- Strong communication skills, willingness to perform and initiative
- Knowledge of MS SQL databases
- Ideally first practical experience
