As Head of Operations Transformation (all genders), you are part of the leadership team in the operations organization reporting directly to the COO. In this role you will work with the operations teams to re-design and harmonize operational processes across the firm to build a scalable and robust operational backbone for the future growth of the company. You will not replace existing operational line management, but act as a cross-functional transformation and governance authority.
- Review and map operational processes across the firm
- Harmonize operational procedures and standards across the different product lines in the firm establishing target operating model, service catalogue, KPI framework and standard operating procedures
- Drive change management and stakeholder alignment across operations, products, and leadership
- Create and maintain a centralized governance model for operating and hosting critical infrastructure for our clients
- Work closely with the product organization to ensure operational scalability of future products and services
- Position Infrastructure as a Service offering as a monetizable product to be pitched to clients alongside the software products
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards (e.g. ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, DORA, MaRisk) where required
What distinguishes you
- You have extensive experience and track record in successfully scaling operating processes and teams in hosted software environments, preferably within the financial services industry
- You are familiar with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry and an expert in aligning operational process with ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 standards
- You have successfully built and implemented scalable target operating models for globally operating software or financial services companies
- You have a track record of meeting and exceeding operational goals, KPIs and SLAs both internally and for hosted client systems
- You are enthusiastic about achieving scalability by means of automation and augmentation of operational processes and have a strong understanding of available tools and technologies and their benefits and risks for an operations organization
- You are an experienced leader of operational teams and are excited to build and develop the operations organization to facilitate the growth of the firm
- You have experience in building operations teams across multiple locations and implementing processes and governance models to ensure efficient and scalable collaboration across locations
- Strong conceptual understanding of modern cloud, automation, and observability stacks
- Excellent English language skills are a given for you. German language skills can be an advantage
- While the role is based in Frankfurt, willingness to travel moderately to other company operating centers is expected
