Webinar Sales & Operations Planning
Successful concept for optimal planning quality and lean processes
Sales & operations planning (S&OP), the overall assessment and coordination of the different planning levels, is being used to an ever greater extent and by companies in the widest range of sectors. But what is hidden behind this approach and how precisely and with what level of detail does it have to be applied?
We would like to use our experience and share some interesting examples of our customers to convince you that S&OP is an aid with which you can realize conflicting SCM goals, such as optimal on-time delivery, low stocks and high productivity. This is enabled by, for instance, implementation of the management targets in a planning strategy and the perfect coordination of single subprocesses. In concrete terms, the processes for sales planning, customer order entry, material planning, and fine planning are closely interrelated and represented in a simple and transparent IT landscape. In each of these areas, changes in the process or use of professional tools can achieve major improvements, and we will introduce you to them. Clearly defined organizational structures and valid KPIs enable efficient communication as well as fast identification of disturbance variables and their solution. All of these factors contribute towards an improvement in planning quality and impact upon the availability of materials, stock, and employees’ work hours.
Take part in our web seminar and discuss with us and the other participants whether the approaches we present can be implemented in your company.
On request, we will inform you in a webinar on the subject “Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)”.
