  • Act as the interface between product and the client, owning and managing client requirements, ensuring high quality level of end user engagement
  • Work hand in hand with the product team to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring that the updated roadmap is presented to clients on a regular cadence where appropriate
  • Ownership of the client demo environment for Post-Trade Automation tools
  • Oversee the pre-sales process, preparing and executing demos and acting as a subject matter expert in client meetings (primarily for Post-Trade Automation but to be extended to other products)
  • Have a clear understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape, providing insights and updates to address gaps in the valantic FSA product line and push the product ahead of the competition
  • Regularly engage current users on new features and functionality, ensuring communications are correctly captured in the CRM system.
  • Plan and deliver training for new users at new or existing clients to ensure expedited product adoption.
  • Build out playbooks for client engagement activities (e.g. new user onboarding, end-user check-in, new functionality availability)

What distinguishes you

  • A minimum of 8 year’s experience working in Post-trade / middle office automation, preferably with experience at a venue or vendor.
  • A minimum of 8 years exposure to the middle office and end-users of automation solutions including demoing solutions to existing clients and prospects.
  • A bachelor’s / master’s degree in a computer science / engineering related field
  • Excellent business and technical knowledge of Post-Trade / middle office automation (trade booking, allocations, settlement, collateral management, margin, inventory management etc)
  • Technical depth to be able to set up and maintain the demo environment ensuring that it is ready to present with minimal lead time.
  • Ability to engage credibly and with gravitas at a senior level with our clients and prospects
  • Fluent English; other European languages desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, building specifications, product design and building a product roadmap
  • Ability to assimilate new information quickly and eagerness to learn about new products and market evolution
  • Strong collaborative nature with the ability to work with local and remote teams,
  • Excellent presentation skills
