Analyst / Associate (all genders) M&A / Corporate Development
You prepare buy-vs-build decisions and implement them consistently in targeted acquisitions, the establishment of new companies or team hiring
You accompany the entire M&A process of connections to valantic end-to-end, from the initial analysis and evaluation of the market, through management discussions, to the support of due diligence and contract negotiations, as well as integration into the existing organization
In addition, you will support the development of organic growth areas through market analyses, definition of an operating model for new business areas, preparation of approaches to external teams, as well as creation and challenge of business plans for new business areas.
You will work in a small team in the direct environment of valantic's corporate management
What distinguishes you
You have an excellent academic degree (Bachelor or Master) with a business orientation
You have already gained initial professional experience through 2-3 internships or full-time experience of up to 18 months in relevant areas such as strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking or corporate development in a renowned company. For an Associate position we expect at least 18 months of full-time experience
In addition to your friendly and open personality, you are very resilient, motivated, ambitious and show a lot of initiative as well as knowledge of human nature
You have very strong analytical skills
You have a keen interest in the IT market and are fascinated by topics such as digitalization, big data, IoT and Industry 4.0
You are fluent in German and English
