In a team of several SaaS and Cloud specialists, you are responsible as a 2nd level Support Engineer-Cloud Infrastructure (all genders) for

  • As a cloud infrastructure engineer (all genders) in 2nd level support, you ensure the trouble-free operation of our SaaS financial services solutions
  • You work closely with 1st level support and process incoming tickets
  • You enjoy the independent analysis and elimination of technical faults and, if necessary, you integrate your 3rd level team independently
  • You write knowledge base articles to enable self-service and proactive solutions and support, coach and train the 1st level team
  • You have no problem intervening in running systems and implementing effective measures quickly
  •  Your tasks also include handling problems, change requests and incident requests
  • You are on a first-name basis with your internal teams. After all, you work closely together to solve technical problems
  •  You will help optimise our monitoring, logging and observability solution (ELK, Kibana, Kafka, etc.)
  •  Our service is provided at different times and as a team we organise our services in weekly shifts

What distinguishes you


  • You are passionate about support and operations and love daily challenges and communication
  • You have experience in dealing with difficult situations and, when necessary, can make decisions independently with a sense of urgency
  • You have good knowledge in: VPC, subnets and internet gateways
  •  You have expertise in web security and networking
  • You have experience with AWS products such as EC2, RDS, VPC, security, compliance, storage in development, test and production environments
  • You have a very good knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, scripting (Bash, Powershell, etc)
  • You have very good verbal and written communication skills and your appearance is confident and authoritative
  • You can communicate successfully with your colleagues in written and spoken English
  •  You have an apprenticeship in the field of system administration/integration or have completed your studies (Bachelor) with a focus on communications/information technology or similar


  • You already have first contact with HashiCorp products like Nomad and Consul
  • You have experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD concepts
  •  You want to continuously develop yourself, enjoy new challenges and have a strong team spirit


  • You are currently working in the area of system administration/integration with a focus on server systems (such as web applications, orchestration, networks)
  • You are characterised by analytical thinking, experience in finding solutions as well as great customer orientation
  • Recording and initiating the necessary solution steps are no problem for you
