Effective Field

  • As a working student you will help us to support our customers (banks, stock exchanges and internally) with problems of any kind
  • You are part of the international helpdesk team
  • You staff our hotline, take calls and are responsible for their administration
  • You provide user support, do system administration and operations management
  • You are the contact person for our customers and the communication interface to the internal development process

What distinguishes you

  • Good or excellent JavaScript application framework knowledge like ExtJS (Sencha) or equivalent e.g. Angular JS (Google)
  • Good XML, HTML, CSS knowledge
  • Web Services: SOAP, RESTful knowledge
  • Other languages like PL/ SQL, C/C++, JAva or TCL are a plus
  • Good knowledge in Database Systems e.g. Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL Server, MySQL.
  • Good Unix ans Windows operation system knowlegde and administration skills. knowledge of Linux welcome
  • Good communication skills, fluet English, German and/ or French is a must, Basic English writing required, Luxemburgish is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Business Process Modelling, Extended State Machine Diagrams (UML notation).
  • Good knowledge of Scrum/ Agile and/ or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Skills of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
  • First professional experiences are welcome but not required.
