Take action before anything happens
Predictive maintenance reduces the risk of unplanned production breakdowns. For the maintenance and servicing of machines and individual components, measurement data is analyzed continuously in real time. Using correlations, comparison models, and algorithms, the future functionality and any upcoming breakdowns of components (a seal or bearing, for example) are determined. On this basis, action can be taken – thanks to the technology itself or the operator. The appropriate instructions are sent automatically to the component in question (to throttle speeds, for example) or notices about events or alarms are transferred to other systems or users.
This way, upcoming breakdowns are detected early and action is taken before the machine fails.
Control of hydropower facilities
Optimal management of systems
Forward-looking controllers allow optimal management of storage, pump storage, and power plants. Weather data, price curves, and basic operational conditions are monitored on an ongoing basis and incorporated into the real-time optimization.
Via an interface to the process control system, the measurement values are read and optimal set points determined. This data is available to the system operator at any time and organized clearly.
Domestic power optimization
Optimize production and consumption
With domestic power optimization, the self-supply of operators is optimized by attuning the available production units and loads to one another – for example, photovoltaic systems, block heating plants, batteries, and heat pumps. Domestic power optimization uses existing production and storage possibilities in a forward-looking manner in order to minimize energy and network costs. Privately generated power is fed in if it makes sense to do this, and power from other suppliers is purchased from the network when it is inexpensive. This is controlled and calculated by our energyON IoT platform.
