Master Data Cockpit from valantic ensures clean material master data
With the introduction of the Master Data Cockpit (MDC) from valantic, the leading manufacturer of vehicle equipment and mobile transport solutions with around 1,000 employees worldwide is further expanding its market position and can also realize major orders at short notice with special requests of the desired quality at any time.

More transparency, more data control, a comprehensible throughput time and clear responsibilities in the material plant process – these were the requirements of Sortimo International GmbH for a more efficient material master data management.
After the introduction of the Master Data Cockpit, Sortimo no longer requires manual master data duplication across several plants: an automated creation of the missing views with flexible field contents and conditions can now be controlled by the user directly and in real time in the productive system.
Within the departments, only the required fields of the material system are displayed, so that each employee can enter and edit his or her nursing area at a glance. In addition to the evaluations in the SAP standard system, MDC-specific transactions can now also be used, for example, control of workflow progress, possible missed deadlines for each material, or status changes for a process step. A clear deputy regulation in the MDC system ensures a continuous workflow. You can use the MDC overview function to display all fields relevant for the material master and the entire maintained environment of the material.
Responsibility no longer lies entirely with product management. Rather, as desired by Sortimo, the responsible sales channel now acts as the responsible applicant in the material process.
