In a team of several product and technical specialists, you are responsible as a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (all genders) for
- Develop and maintain project plans including work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, task dependencies, schedule, open issues, and risk assessment, management, and mitigation plans
- Work with resource managers, technical staff, and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project delivery to ensure projects are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall project plan, driving customer outcomes, and customer satisfaction
- Manage direct staff, consultants, contractors and vendor teams as required, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success
- Document meeting minutes, maintain Project Status reports, Resource Actuals and other PMO updates, summarising meeting actions, following up on outstanding items, escalating issues as necessary
- Perform the necessary analysis required in all phases of the project, understand objectives and various issues in detail. Propose options for resolution as well as robust recommendations
- Managing scope creep, conduct impact analysis and communicate changes, enhancements, and modification of deliverables verbally or through written documentation to senior stakeholders
- Find practical and simple solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
What distinguishes you
MUST HAVE:
- Computer Science Engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters) or equivalent
- At least around 6 to 10 years project management experience in the delivery of a technology platform
- Expert-level ability in managing all aspects of the project management life cycle for multiple projects at one time including those complex in nature
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools (Jira). Ability to work with different SDLC frameworks (Waterfall and Agile)
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Czech
NICE TO HAVE:
- Strong capacity to adapt and address unique challenges in collaborative and creative ways
- Project management certification (e. g., Prince or PMP) is strongly preferred
- Displays advanced communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team-building skills as well as advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Financial Services/Fintech Experience. Strong plus: Experience working with Payments systems
- Customer focus
- Fluent in German
