In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, being actively involved in testing and quality assurance processes. You can look forward to the following tasks in detail:
- Provide second-line support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the web application. Complete documentation of the processing and solution paths
- Prepare the incidents and service requests for development (3rd level support). Collaborate with the development team to investigate and address software defects and performance issues
- Monitor the progress of requests, taking SLAs into account. Communicate proactively with customers and colleagues
- Test thoroughly new features, identifying and documenting bugs, and verify fixes
- Perform regression testing to validate application functionality after bug fixes or enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories, translating them into test scenarios
- Participate in the continuous improvement of software development and testing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including user guides and support materials
- Collaborate with the 1st Line Support team to provide guidance and knowledge transfer, enabling them to independently resolve simpler issues
What distinguishes you
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree or professional training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for web applications
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in test planning, test case creation, and execution
- Fluent language skills (written and spoken) in German and English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with case management systems and/or transaction automation processes is highly desirable
- Proficiency to write SQL queries to retrieve and analyse data from databases
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is a plus
